Appearance: Colton's most noticable feature is his hair, which is thick, honey-blonde, overgrown, and completely uncontrollable. Even after a haircut, it's always long enough to fall in front of his eyes, which are light brown in colour. Colton takes after his father, with sharper features and a stern face. He's tall, standing at around six-foot-one, yet thin and awkward, with large hands and feet that don't really fit with his narrow shoulders and hips. He's pale in complexion, attributed both to his turning and the fact that he burned and never tanned. Colton was never a head-turner, but he does possess some attractive features and can be considered handsome.
As far as dress goes, Colton's style varies. There's his all-work-no-play phase, in which he'll be found in a suit and tie. To dress down but still maintain a professional air, he'll wear button-up shirts and slacks or nice jeans. When going casual, it's usually a fitted tee shirt and older, faded and worn out jeans. He's got a secret love for hooded sweaters and will wear them whenever he feels vunerable or wants to be warm and comfortable. On his more confident days, he'll wear anything from a black, wool peacoat to a more dressed up blazer or suit jacket. One thing is always a constant: He doesn't experiment with footware. Colton always wears black, Converse hightops, and has since he was 15.
Personality: In a word, Colton is subdued. He’s quiet yet stubborn, putting a more serious twist on life. Ever since Colt began his job at Ace High, he's been forced to acquire people skills, and can confidently carry out a conversation about the weather, the local sports teams, and about work. Anything else, and you're asking too much of him. Colton has never been comfortable around strangers, and usually left his sister to make friends for him. He has a hard time opening up about anything, save his niece, Celeste, and feels uncomfortable hearing about other people's life stories. Even around close friends, he tends to seem distant and has a hard time speaking comfortabley.
Though Colton is quiet and timid when it comes to conversation, he is becoming more fearless around work and his coven. Colt takes pride in his accomplishments and he isn't afraid to show it. He can be boastful to his colleagues about gigs he's locked down and is always confident in his decisions for the Nephim coven. He's young, and challenging him on issues he's solid about will lead to him being overly headstrong and extremely stubborn. The only other subject that gets Colton to talk easily is his niece, Celeste. He fits into a fathering role flawlessly and could spend hours talking about Celeste's feats and stumbles. However, Celeste is much more chatty than Colton is, and if you happen to meet both of them at once, he'll happily leave her to the talking, and remain silent, watchful, and stern as ever before.
Special Abilites:
1. Colton sleeps like a mortal human, but is very vulnerable to direct sunlight. Artificial lights, like headlights, can hurt his eyes, but interior lights and streetlights don't cause him any discomfort, unless they are high-powered lights (like the lights found in hospitals).
2. He possesses the powers of mesmerism and command, but only knows of command to a certain extent. He's not yet old enough or powerful enough to be fully apt at this power.
3. Colton cannot drink dead blood and must feed every other night. He's timid about how to approach a feeding situation and frequently loses control of the situation, killing his victims on accident.
4. Colton's skin is always cold and pale, even after a feeding.
5. Colton can move at speeds faster than the human eye and, when he really wants to, speeds faster than the immortal eye.
6. He can alter his outward appearance the same as any mortal can but does not show in mirrors.
7. Colton's fangs cannot be retracted, and are nearly an inch long, from root to tip. They extend almost a centimetre longer than his fore teeth, and are very visible up close. Lucky for Colton, his natural smile is a lopsided half-smile that barely reveals his teeth.

Name: Celeste Anne Taylor-Holstein. The 'e' in her middle name is silent.
Nicknames: Her father calls her CeeCee, Celery Anne, and Blondie, but Colton calls her by her first name.

Appearance: Celeste has grown quite fast over the last year, now a towering toddler at 23 inches tall, and definitely taking after her Uncle Colton's side of the family. She's thinned out to a little whip of a thing, weighing just less than 26 pounds. Her blonde hair has darkened to a honey tone, very similar to the shade of hair her mother, Codi, had. It has also grown out long enough to put up in a small ponytail, though her braids and pigtails fall out faster than they can get put in. Celeste has her father's grey-blue eyes, more blue than grey, and always full of energy and excitement. As for clothing, her mother was one of those types that bought the cutest little outfits to lavish on her little girl, ranging from little dresses with frills and bows and bonnets to practical pants and shirts, decorated with flowers and princesses and butterflies. While most of her old clothing no longer fits, she still prefers to wear pretty dresses, though she has also started begging for stretch leggings to run around in. She prefers wearing her light up, Velcro sneakers, though she will wear pretty sandals when attire requires them. She's pretty self reliant, and dresses herself, from her clothes to her hair to her play make-up.
Personality: Celeste isn't afraid of anything, except perhaps her father and Uncle Colton when she's done wrong. She is very gregarious, and will chat at any passing stranger she feels like talking to. Even though she's only four, she's quite smart and will generally repeat things she hears adults talking about, giving her an aura of higher intelligence. She's too old for her age, and when she should be out playing in the sunshine, she's inside mimicking her uncle, fake reading a newspaper, or making promises to her puppy, Daisy, and her stuffed duck, Daa, that she'll make sure they never have to go live with her father. Media has definitely influenced this child, in many good and bad ways. She'll never pass on an opportunity to quote a non-smoking ad when she sees someone smoking a cigarette, but she also learned from movies the art of running away from home.

Apparent Age: Anywhere from 25-35. He has a timeless sort of look to him, and people don't generally assume he's older than 35 because his hair hasn't started greying yet.
Species: Vampire.

Appearance: Quen is fairly light skinned, as far as mulatto children go, looking more Portuguese than African American. He has black, curly hair that falls in loose spirals down to the bottom of his ears, and dark brown eyes, both typical of the African race. He's tall, standing at somewhere just over 6', and average in body build, though incredibly strong. Quentin wears neutral colours, accenting his darker skin and his more stern personality. He prefers tees and khakis, usually cut knee-length, and usually wears a 'natural coloured' cotton bucket hat, for whatever reason.
Personality: Quentin tends to be stern and tacit, hard working and busy. It's rare to see him smile, only surpassed by the rarity of seeing him cry. His face is never left emotionless, however, and usually looks calculating and scrutinizing, always thinking, even if he isn't the brightest bulb on the tree. What he lacks in brainpower he makes up for in manpower and determination. He's always polite, albeit a bit intimidating, and usually accompanies answers with a 'M'am' or 'Sir', in a slightly southern, slightly Boston, and slightly Canadian drawl.
Special Abilites: Quentin was blessed with the typical vampiric abilities of strength and speed, but aside from that, Quen has no special powers. He is not bright enough to comprehend half of what vampires do anyway, so it's fine by him that he has nothing special going on.

Nicknames: Josh by all friends, "Little Lamb Josh" by his mother, and Josh: Assistant to the Entertainment Department's Manager when he needs to have his confidence boosted.

Age: 18.
Species: Mortal.
Appearance: Joshua comes from a Jewish family, and unfortunately, he can't deny that. He has brown, curly hair, cut short and kept neat due to his mother's demands, and big brown eyes. He constantly gets teased, and called Little Lamb Josh because of his small size and shy demeanour by both friends and family, especially his mother. He's a little guy at just 5' 4" tall, and girls are quick to baby him, but not so quick to flirt with him. Along with his Jewish born brown hair, he has a very characteristic large nose, which takes away from the attractive factor. Often he complains of his heritage and threatens to, one day, get a nose job. Then again, the guys at school would think of him as more of a little girl if he did so, so he never could. Anyway, Josh likes to dress as masculine as possible. No questionable jeans. No vests. No pink. He prefers to try and be "hip and with it" as well, so his usual style is jeans and a fitted, brand name t-shirt, usually with the logo or some witty saying displayed across the front. He likes tennis shoes, baseball caps, beanies, and hoodies when it’s cold. He's a typical teenage boy with hormones and the occasional pimples and the need to be cool. What else can you say?
Personality: Joshua is cool; he's the epitome of “high school cool.” He hangs out with the right crowds, wears the nice clothes, and says the right things. He goes to all the parties, breaks the rules when that's cool, and sticks to the rules when it's not cool to break them. He has tried so hard for this personal image of all around cool for so many years that it's hard to see him as anything other than cool. Whether or not he has a personality that's actually his own is questionable; if he were rude and macho and that wasn't cool, he'd stop being rude and macho. It's all about the "cool". Whether this is part of his cool scheme or not, Josh is undeniably sweet, and one of the first things you'll see him do is smile. He's easily infected with laughter at jokes and stupid tricks and the likes. He's not too ambitious, and really has no stress about what he'll do after college. In fact, he doesn't even know quite what he will do during college, but, like I said, that doesn't faze him. He's very laid back in general. The only time Joshua ever actually cares is when it comes to girls. Girls are the most difficult, wonderful, annoying things on the planet. They're pretty and they giggle and their eyes twinkle and they flip their hair and... Well, dammit, they're just cute. And poor Josh cannot keep his "cool" around them. If a girl bats their eyes at him, he'll blush. If they compliment him, he'll stutter. Anything more, he'll freeze up like an ice cube. A very pink ice cube. And Josh just doesn't know how to overcome this "fear" of girls.
